Everex Stepnote NM3500W Drivers

Model: Everex StepNote NM3500W

Series: StepBook Series

Origin: China, Japan, US (popular in US)



It seems that I'm unable to locate the ftp or donwload link for Everex model in thier support site. There are 3 support site available which is Japan, China and USA. Here I list the drivers with links form many resources since I'm not allowed to re-upload the driver files.



Windows XP Drivers:

(extract the driver file and run setup within the extracted driver folder to install)



Chipset:

VIA P4M800 Pro Chipset Drivers (XP, Vista)

Audio:

Via AC97 Audio Drivers VT8235 (XP, Vista)

Also known as Via Vinly audio drivers

Wireless:

Atheros AR5005G Wireless Adapter

Download this drivers from Atheros.cz site:

We need to install it manually since the drivers file is not automatic driver installation file.



1. Extract The drivers first (i recommend to install and use Winrar software to extract)

2. Open device manager by click start and select run type DEVMGMT.MSC and press Enter.

3.Right Click on Ethernet Controller and Select Update driver.

4. Select No to connect, Select Advance, Select Browse and point to the extracted driver folder.

5. Continue with on screen installation Instruction until installation Finish.



Modem:

AC' 97 Modem Driver

Version n/a, 5MB

Windows Vista and Windows 7 Upgrade - Drivers and Installation:

For Windows Vista and Windows 7, after finish installing windows, first make sure to run automatic updates. After that Check your drivers first to see which drivers is missing. You can refer to my guide here how to check you drivers in windows Vista/7.

Before Installing the drivers for you model, note that:Not all manufacture provide Windows Vista/7 support for devices which designed for windows XP.



Chipset:

You don't need to install chipset drivers in windows 7.



Audio:

Automatically installed. If not use The xp/Vista drivers above to install using manual Installation method.



Graphic:

Install using Manual Installation using Windows XP Drivers.



Wireless:

Download This drivers from Atheros cz.

Download Site
